Burgess Custom Outerwear & Yostmark Mountain Equipment are proud to introduce a revolutionary line of outerwear built specifically for backcountry touring & mountaineering. The entire line is sourced, designed, & produced in the USA using  innovative fabrics & great attention to detail.
The Yostmark Backcountry Pant is built from many winters of product development & testing by AJ Linnell, the lead guide for Yostmark Backcountry Tours. AJ worked closely with the team members of Burgess Custom & Yostmark to build the ultimate backcountry snow pants. The Northwoods SoftShell Jacket is the latest addition to Burgess Custom’s emergent collection of outerwear & apparel.

The entire line is handcrafted using Polartec® Power Shield fabric, which boasts 15K mm waterproof & breathability ratings & is bonded to a microfleece lining. All products are lined with a moisture-wicking mesh to ensure warmth, dryness, & breathability. We also used Uretek water resistant zippers & Cordura® reinforcements throughout the snow pants & jackets to protect you from winter’s elements.

This grassroots outerwear line is a collaborative project based in Teton Valley, Idaho. We relied solely on local sources for printing, embroidery, design, & graphic art.
