burgess athletes Burgess Custom athlete Jesse “The Brick” Birt is a 17 year old Jackson Hole local who has been snowboarding for 10 years and has a true love for the sport. Jesse’s drive and determination allowed him to attain early high school graduation in order to focus his sites on his snowboarding goals. He spends 150+ days/year on snow between Jackson Hole in the winter and High Cascade Snowboard Camp at Mt. Hood in the summer. Jesse has also been coaching gymnastics for two years which explains his huge, smooth style. Over the last four seasons “The Brick” has had a tireless competition schedule which brought him to local, regional, and national events, including two USSA Grand Prix halfpipe events. Jesse finished off the 06/07 competition season as the USASA Intermountain Region Halfpipe Champion and made a huge impression on judges, peers, and spectators alike at USASA Nationals last April in Tahoe.
