Sara Wear started as a small, custom made clothing company. Owner and designer Sara Deutsch was attending Colorado State University and began making her own clothes in 2000. It all started with a patchwork tank top sewn completely by hand. After that, Sara bought a sewing machine and made tank tops for classmates. The Sara Wear line gained popularity and branched out to produce skirts, pants, and dresses. After graduation, Sara spent a summer traveling the country and selling the unique products.

Sara decided it was time to expand the Sara Wear line into a winter market, so Burgess Custom was born. The new winter line began as a dream to produce durable snow pants that represent an individual’s style and personality. It started with a few pairs of one-of-a-kind snow pants made for friends and family. Winter sports enthusiasts could not believe their eyes…custom patchwork snow pants?! After years of product testing and development, Burgess Custom has grown into a successful, performance minded outerwear company.

Both Sara Wear and Burgess Custom are produced in the United States using exceptional craftsmanship. We work with high end fabrics that complement this craftsmanship to produce completely unique clothing. Owner and designer Sara Deutsch currently resides in the beautiful mountains of Victor, Idaho. She works with companies all over the United States to find the perfect fabrics, patterns, and production means that make up these distinctive clothing lines.
